It’s not just dusty old VHS tapes either. I currently have the fourth season of Entourage sitting on my coffee table and recently spent a weekend with the girls watching the first season of Gossip Girl. All checked out from the library – for free.
How much do you spend on books and DVDs? You could be spending a lot less if you go get yourself a library card….
Of course, there’s always Red Box if you’re in a pinch on Friday night and the library is closed. DVDs for a dollar?!? See ya, Blockbuster.

This tip is such a good one! I sold all of my DVDs and books are realizing I was underutilizing my city’s great library system. Who needs three large bookcases cluttering up their living room when they can borrow those same books for free and return them when they’re done? I wish more people used their libraries.
